Project applications are invited periodically by the Board. To take part in the current round of funding, please submit your application by March 15, 2024. Projects will be voted on by the NWACA Board at their next Board meeting and applicants will be notified of their acceptance. The number of projects funded is at the discretion of the Board. Past projects have included the Doss Soccer Field, recycling cans for local parks, Anderson High School Band Trailer, and funds for the Constable Patrol pilot, the Murchison Comminity Garden, outdoor musical instruments at Highland Park Elementary School, and others. Projects have ranged in size from $2500 to $20,000.

Some applicants may choose to submit an idea in concert with the City of Austin Neighborhood Partnering Program, where applications must be submitted by October 1st or June 1st for their funding cycle: Neighborhood Partnering Program

Other applicants may choose to team with the Austin Parks Foundation (see details at Austin Parks Grants), where applications for different types of grants have different deadlines.
