Update from Austin Transportation personnel on Friday, April 28:
Following up on Greystone Drive, we have gone through additional feedback received and are evaluating an updated design to address speeds along the street. The updates we’re evaluating include:
• Reducing the number of rows of speed cushions.
• Improving the existing pedestrian crossings along the length of Greystone Drive, including at Mesa Drive, Chimney Corners, and Hart Lane.
• Improving curve markings between Mesa Drive and Edgerock Drive.
We plan on having a fact sheet completed in the next 1-2 weeks and will send along when completed. The updated construction plans will take longer due to additional in-field reviews needed for the pedestrian crossings. An updated timeline for construction will be available in the upcoming weeks.
