You may have seen a message board saying something like "Road Work coming. Mesa Drive will be closed 7/13-7/22." That sign has now been replaced by one citing work from 7/13 to 7/17. The City tells us that from 7/13 to 7/17, there will be work on the pavement, milling and grinding out old pavement. The paving work will occur on one half of the street at a time, so the road will not be completely closed. Signs and cones/barricades will be set up to direct traffic while work is occurring, but residents will still be able to access their homes. If at any point there is work occurring in front of a home on Mesa and a resident is concerned about the logistics of entering or exiting, the contractors on the street will be able to provide them with assistance.
Today, these door hangers were distributed to residents along Mesa Drive in the affected area.
Once that pavement work is done, we expect to see the new markings on the street, as discussed in the community meetings held several weeks ago. We are still waiting for the final design of the striping and markings, but will publish that as soon as it arrives.
