Neill-Cochran House Museum Exhibit at St. Matthew’s Jan. 16 and 30

January 4th, 2022

Everyone is invited to come and see the Neill-Cochran House Museum’s exhibit, Reckoning with the Past: Slavery, Segregation, and Gentrification in Austin. The exhibit will be mounted in Huffman Hall at St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church, open to the public from 1-5 PM on Sundays, January 16 and January 30. Curators of the exhibit will give a talk about the exhibit at 2 PM on January 16. The exhibit, on display at the Museum in 2020, is the product of a collaboration of the Museum and students and faculty of UT-Austin, who conducted research into the Museum site’s history and into Austin history more generally.
