Come watch the parade and have fun at the Freedom Fest, starting at 9 am on July 4th. Judy Maggio will lead the parade as our Grand Marshal, with opening ceremonies at the corner of Cima Serena Drive and Robbie Drive.
The parade will proceed along Cima Serena to the North parking lot of Anderson High School, where the festivities will continue. We’ll have games, a petting zoo, watermelon, tacos, donuts, iced coffee, Kona Ice, and a bounce house!
If you can’t walk or bike to the event, there’s lots of parking in the South lot at Anderson and across the street at Westover Church. See you there!
We're using a new parade route this year, making it easy for neighbors on the north side of NWACA to walk to the parade and giving others plenty of space to park and then line the parade route. Come and see beautiful floats, scout troops, antique cars, war veterans, the Anderson Band, a variety of marchers and of course, our famous Lawn Chair Brigade! Then come to the Freedom Fest and enjoy watermelon, tacos, donuts, Kona ice - and try your hand at breaking boards with Journey Martial Arts! Kids have lots of games to play, and there will be a petting zoo!
