City of Austin Right-of-way Asset Management Plan

May 3rd, 2026

The City of Austin is excited to share the new Right-of-Way Asset Management Plan (RAMP) map, a tool developed by Austin Transportation and Public Works (TPW) that promotes transparency and supports the City's commitment to safer, smarter infrastructure.

The RAMP map is designed to make it easier for everyone to see what's happening on Austin's streets this fiscal year (Oct. 1, 2025 - Sept. 30, 2026) and how the City manages and invests in its public infrastructure. Residents can view where proactive maintenance activities are planned across the city, like

  • Street maintenance
  • Bridge projects
  • Sidewalk repairs
  • Updated signs and markings
  • Signal timing improvements
  • Parking pay stations
  • Vegetation management
  • Mowed areas

Addressing maintenance needs early is essential to preserving the condition and longevity of the City's transportation infrastructure. By sharing annual service plans, including work locations, this map highlights how TPW proactively extends infrastructure life, improves safety and mobility and reduces costly emergency repairs.

Project locations and schedules may change throughout the year to accommodate coordination with other infrastructure work, unforeseen site conditions or inclement weather. Explore the interactive RAMP map.
